Wadhwa Group acquires land bank in Ghatkopar, Mumbai
Mumbai-based real estate developer Wadhwa Group acquired a plot measuring18.18 acres from Hindustan Composites Limited for Rs. 571 crore. The site is located at Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg (LBS Marg) at Ghatkopar in west Mumbai.
This site is abutted by multi-storeyed residential complexes of renowned developers. It is opposite one of Mumbai’s largest brand malls and next to the Godrej and Boyce estate with its lush greenery.
The design is proposed to integrate measures into the site planning, to conserve natural resources in terms of energy, water and waste; a climate responsive architecture, sustainable environment friendly solutions, energy efficient lighting, extensive landscaping on podium and other levels, rainwater harvesting and ground water recharging.
An efficient design factor to reduce energy consumption by minimising the use of mechanical ventilation for air conditioning, electrical lights, etc. with huge picture frame windows is proposed to make the apartments bright and airy. Sound-proof double glazed windows that save energy consumption and prevent outside noise from infiltrating will enhance the living experience in the proposed multi-storeyed residential development with AAA amenities.
